...From the top, beautiful green glass beads, lower fimo, and last fimo flowers (if you look carefully through my latest posts you might find a match for them ;)
These are made from natural beads, meaning they come from some exotic tree... Unfortunately I do not know from which exactly cause I received them from a friend who traveled through South America.
Here is some nice output of 3 days of work :) ya ya claying and polishing takes time ;) But is worked out very nice at the end so here it is, my new creation :)
This one was weaved on a loom. I think the concept comes from the native Americans. They used to make beads form available natural materials like coral and shells semi-precious, stones, wood, bone and metals. The glass beads were brought to them only by the European colonists. One of the most popular stitches is the peyote stitch, but many more varieties exists.
You know how it is sometimes you see something you think oh it is so cute, I bet it is easy to make, but ... No! :) not at all so just in case someone wants to try this later I attached the pattern with it. so you just need to string a lot of beads in this order (left to right then repeat). I used O-for one color and X-for another: OOOXOOOX OXXOOXXO XOXOXOXO XXOOXXOO and then you start from the left again. So later you take a crochet and make rounds of 8 beads each :)
