Someone pointed out once that we do not have a clock in our living room, so there it is!.

Covering

Well covering small objects in paper and paint... And some varnish at the very end

There was a day when I looked at this plate and I thought: "It needs more color" :)

more decoupage during my vacation

Decoupage

This is a technique based on gluing pieces of paper onto various surfaces (wood, glass, metal).

You need very limited supplies to to it:
- something to decorate (like a box or a jar)
- paper; magazine pages, napkins, colored packing paper etc...
- glue, usually a standard water soluble one, it must dry to be transparent
- sealer, like acrylic lacquers or so
optionally a paint to make a background layer on the object you wish to cover in order to give it a uniform color

tools:
sponges, brushes, scissors or a scalpel

additionally you can purchase special varnishes and mediums, like the crackling one I used, to get a special effect.

it is really easy it is great fun and I am cirtain effect of your work will bring you satisfaction :)

Dusting

There are days when you just go down to the basement (or where ever it is you store stuff ;) and rediscover something you have temporarily forgotten about... So here is my mushroom re-discovered :) I made this one in 2006 during my stay in Norwich with my beloved pen.
